Grade Entries "disappearing"?

Good afternoon,
Before I reach out to Support I wanted to see if anyone in the community has heard or experienced this issue:
I have had a couple of teachers that have had grades disappear from their Grade book after entering the grades. While I have not personally witnessed the issue occurring, the consensus from those that have experienced it is that it has happened on more than one occasion where they have entered grades for an entire assignment, navigate away from Canvas and when returning the grades are gone.
Has anyone had this experience? Is there an audit log for grade entering that I could possibly check? Or is Support the best choice here?

I am not seeing any known issues detailing similar behavior so a Support Ticket might not be a bad idea. I would suggest adding in details about how many people are experiencing this, and if possible, what steps they are taking (to help test if it is reproducible).
If possible, see if you can have a teacher record a video using screen capturing tools to show this occurring. Try to avoid showing any identifiable details about a student (or blur the details) before sharing it on here. Maybe if we saw it, someone here might be able to spot a potential cause.

When using the "Gradebook History" feature in the course, is there any evidence of grades being entered for the artifact(s) in question?

I have not heard anything back from @agarciatms. I would recommend that you either (a) contact Canvas Support directly or (b) reach out to your institution's Canvas team.
