Hello, We have Gradescope linked to assignments in our Canvas course. When students upload their submission in the required pdf format through Gradescope, some textboxes do not show the text answers. When the pdf is downloaded and the textbox is selected, the text is visible. This issue is inconsistent within individual files and among all submissions. Could this be an Adobe Acrobat compatibility issue?

Hi @crfishe2,
If could certainly be some kind of compatibility issue between the file format or specific fields and Gradescope. I think this is one you'd want to reach out directly to Gradescope (or your school/institituion help desk if you don't have direct access ot Gradescope support) to ask about, as that system is a 3rd party integration to Canvas, so it's less likely users in the community here will have it or know as much about it.
I hope this info helps to point you in the right direction to get a solid answer on this.
