Green Publish circles not showing - boxes appear instead

I am a tech coach and a teacher came to me with an issue I have never seen. When she is looking at a Module, she is seeing these boxes instead of the green publishing circles. It was working one day and then changed on her. No one else, that I know of, is seeing this issue.  I have attached a screen shot.  I am hoping it is just a simple setting issue.

Hi @gfaurote,

I saw someone else post a similar screenshot recently, but I haven't been able to replicate this myself.  I don't think it's a setting in Canvas, but likely an issue with a specific web browser.  If possible, can you confirm if that happens on multiple browsers on the same device, or if this is happening on multiple devices?  That may help narrow down the issue.
