New File Update Prevents Interactive HTML Embed - Anyone else?

Hello!

I use this code to embed HTML files:

<. iframe src="link to uploaded file here" width="1000" height="600"></iframe.  >

And now, after the new file update, each page has this bar across the top (which students accidentally close and lose the interactive HTML). 

Can we repair the files to enable embedding?

Hi @KathleenRowley 

I do believe iframing content from Canvas files has always been a gray area at best.  While it did work in some situations, I have never seen it called out as something that was officially supported.  While I know this isn't the info you wanted to hear, it may be time to investigate other methods to get your content delivered to students.  If you'd like to hear directly from someone at Instructure about this, I'd recommend that you contact Canvas support to see that they have to say (and please let us know what they tell you here in the community too).
