New Quizzes showing all sections

Hi

So we have quizzes ssetup using the New Quizzes method, yeah I know we cant get the responses downloaded from them.

So the section was allocated to the quiz, but when the tutor goes into moderate it, it shows every student who has ever been on the course.

Is there a way to filter the moderate screen and show just those in a section?

Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with moderate in New Quizzes. Currently, if a quiz is  assigned to  everyone and there are multiple sections in the course, there isn't a way to filter per section in moderate. You can filter moderate based on submission  status. You can filter per section in Speedgrader, but not yet in New Quizzes in moderate. You can search for the students using the search bar.  If you  need to extend or adjust times for an entire section, you may want to consider duplicating  the quiz and having one assigned to the specific section and the other quiz assigned to the rest of the class.
