I'm trying to set up a quiz/survey in which students receive credit for each question they attempt (regardless of whether they answer it correctly) but do not receive credit for questions they leave unanswered. Currently, in the Graded Survey format, it appears that a student who leaves all questions blank will still receive full points for the survey.
Any options I've overlooked or potential workarounds? Using a Graded Quiz and setting every question to 'multiple answers' and every answer choice to 'correct' seems like too great a source of confusion for my students in my particular context.
Hi @AlisonR -- I don't think there is a way to do this. I heard during Instructurecon that Surveys is coming to New Quizzes (yay!). It might be great to submit this as an idea!
You can submit Ideas to Canvas (which is different than the Question forum). Check it out: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructure-Community-Guide/How-do-I-create-a-new-idea-in-the-Ins...
Thanks!
