Points in New Quiz

I'm creating a "new quiz", and I have built the entire 50 question quiz. However, I find it quite tedious to go into every question and to click the point value from 1 to 2 (or whatever value). Before I build the quiz there is a place to input the point value. Does that over-ride the individual point values in the build section of the quiz? For example, if I input 100 in the point section, then I go to build, will it count each question as 2 pts? I'm looking for an easy way to make a long 50 or 100 question quiz with questions that are worth 2 pts each without going through every individual question.

The point total on the assignment settings is how much the assignment is worth. The points on the quiz side is different. If you make your assignment worth 40pt and the quiz questions total 20pt, then if a student gets a 15/20 then they’ll get 30/40 points in the gradebook.

I like to not have students confused, so my question points match my assignment points.

Thanks, and I agree. But is there an easy way to assign each question two points, for example, instead of having to go through each question and manually enter the points.
