Quiz: Timer

A student took a quiz and completed the quiz. However, under Moderate this Quiz, the timer is still counting for only her. 

Any ideas why?

The only time I've known for something like this to happen is if a student didn't completely submit and navigated away from the page.  This can prevent the quiz from being submitted automatically at the end of the time limit. However, it might also be worth reaching out to Canvas Support to see if something is not working properly for your specific course/assignment.

Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with a student's quiz submission. If the quiz shows as submitted and finished in speedgrader, but  the timer is still counting, that is certainly abnormal behavior. It may be best to manually submit the quiz for the student on your end:

If the issue still persists, it would be best if you contacted Canvas Support directly to pinpoint the source of the issue and provide a resolution:
