Scoring Guidelines for Quizzes

I am a curriculum designer and would like to include some scoring guidelines on quizzes for graders or instructors. They don't necessarily need to be seen by students. Simply creating a rubric doesn't work because instructors will click on each part of the rubric and rubrics do not populate the grade box in quizzes. I tried using the grading comments, but found that students could see these comments after viewing their score. That isn't necessarily bad, but it isn't what I was hoping for, either. Developers, is there a way that you could either create a slide out menu or a section within the quiz that can help the grader know what to look for? Such as key words, or xxx points for each part of the question that is addressed in the student's response? Or a form of Instructor's Notes that are only visible to the instructor or grader when reviewing quizzes that have portions that are not autograded?
Thanks!

Hello baldwinsh,
Thanks for posting in the Community!
It sounds like Canvas does not have that specific grade tray for graders to use for additional direction but it sounds like that would be a good addition. Here is our guide for grading quiz questions within Speedgrader: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-grade-quiz-questions-in-SpeedGrader/ta-...
