Sort column headers on the People Page

Hi,

The People Page (aka Course Roster), needs to have all the column headings to be sortable.

Also the Total Activity header, needs to have how that information is being displayed.

If it's hh:mm:ss (I would have not thought that the :ss would have a display)

This isn't an "official" thing in Canvas, but @James Jones has written a script that allows you to sort the columns on the "People" page.  You can find it as part of one of his many "Canvancements" (Canvas Enhancements) at this link:

Hi @MarkKrukowski,

In addition to all the great info @Chris_Hofer provided, I wanted to add one more possible workaround right now.  The Canvas LMS Mods browser extension for Chrome/Edge by @Code-with-Ski also adds sorting functionality to the people page, among many other enhancements.  It might be a bit easier to install than the Canvancement script, but that really depends on your own skills and preferences.
