Storyline assignments no longer registering submissions

Recently, Storyline SCORM 2004 (4th) edition files uploaded to Canvas as graded assignments are no longer registering submissions.

Meaning, a student can get all the way through the Storyline assignment and will have passed both benchmarks needed to track a submission (we use both viewing 100% of slides AND clicking on an "Exit Course" button on the last slide that has the trigger "complete course as complete/passed" attached to it) but then will be unable to move forward to the next module because they haven't technically (according to Canvas) met the prerequisite.

On my end, the Speedgrader doesn't show a submission from the student and if the student tries to go back into the assignment, Canvas/Storyline acts as though they never even attempted it and have to start from the beginning (all slides are set to "Resume Saved State" and there is no Restart Course trigger anywhere in the Storyline project).

I know there was a problem recently with SCORM, however, the status page said everything had been resolved by this point. But, I still can't consistently upload SCORM files to Canvas. I occasionally get a message that there are no files uploaded to the course, OR I can see all of the files but attempting to upload a new one does nothing.

I've also attached two screenshots of errors that people enrolled as students have seen while trying to work through the course. Unfortunately, these errors aren't happening at the same spot for everyone, and therefore aren't replicable so I haven't been able to find a workaround.

At this point, our only answer has been that the first week of classes for my University starts on Monday so the system is under some stress with students and faculty rushing in, but that doesn't seem to be the only issue at play here.

Hi @astopfel,

There have been a few SCORM incidents that have been resolved since you posted your question. If you are still experiencing challenges with the tool, please reach out to Canvas Support so one agents can take a closer look and diagnose the issue.
