I have two students who are listed in my my People link and are assigned the correct course section and have submitted assignments and I've scored the assignments. BUT when I go to the grade book, their names are not showing up. Any idea what is happening here and what I can do about it????

Hi there, @vcarmer ...
Might you have a filter applied to your Gradebook that is only showing you students in a specific section and not your entire course?
- If you are using the current Gradebook view, check if you have any filters applied, and then check to see if you have a drop-down list in the upper right-hand corner of your Gradebook that allows you to select different views of students. Here's a Guide on that: How do I filter columns and rows in the Gradebook? - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com).
- If you are using the enhanced Gradebook view, there are some additional Guides for that:
Hopefully these Guides will help, and you'll be able to see your students in your Gradebook again. Keep us posted here in the Community...thanks!

Hi @vcarmer,
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from you. We hope you are doing well and that you’ve found an answer to your question!
I would recommend contacting Canvas support in an instance like this so they can look at your course directly and see what is going on. Community members are mostly Canvas users and school/institution administrators who can't see your exact course or account details, so we're unable to provide a ton of help in a situation like this.
The Community Team acknowledges that this thread may not have a proper answer. However, we are marking this post as a solution to help Community Members find and respond to the newest and most active threads.
At any time, any Community member can click the “Not the Solution” option and then respond in-thread with your follow-up questions. It’s important to include @CommunityForums in that reply so we can restore the entire topic to our list of unanswered questions we check routinely.
