I am a Canvas Admin for our Institution and recently one of our departments got invited into a program that uses a third party LTI. I have added LTIs in the past, however this time I am perplexed. The vendor is asking for me to provide the "Vendor Sharable ID" and I am not sure what that means. I did recently create a Canvas ticket, but I thought I would also invite the community to offer feedback in the likelihood that other admins have had this request and can identify what the external LTI tool vendor is asking.

As a fellow Canvas admin, I feel your frustration here. I've run into issues like this multiple times in the past where vendors have their own internal terminology for things and use that instead of standardized Canvas terminology. Do you happen to know if this is an LTI 1.1 or 1.3 integration? My first guess is that this is an LTI 1.3, and they want to know the ID of the LTI key (LTI 1.3 works much differently than 1.1). They may also want you to create a Developer API Key and provide the info for that. If you tell us what product you're trying to integrate, someone might be able to dig up documentation and come up with more accurate info than my guesses here.
Good to know that we are not alone. Unfortunately I don't know if the integration is 1.1. or 1.3 (my guess is 1.3 as well). The LTI is RQI (Resuscitation Quality Improvement). It is a CPR nursing simulation program. Per their site, "Data is archived in a Learning Management System (LMS) used to track and document individual student performance" Here is their site if it's helpful: https://cpr.heart.org/en/cpr-courses-and-kits/rqi/what-is-rqi
