For one assignment, students need to upload a video.
The video comes in as a thumbnail, when clicked, only doubles in size, and is too small to assess.
The only way is to have a second monitor to maximize the file to full screen to view, assess, close, and then open the next video.
We used to use Flipgrid and the video size was fine, but it's no longer available.
Is there a "global" setting to set the video size larger do I can actually view it in Speedgrader to assess?
I have already contacted our district Canvas "guru" and they have no idea.

Hi @DONALDPERRY,
For a media recording submission, I don't think the videos are really resizable, and I don't think it would be easy to change that size. With that being said, many schools/institutions, have separate video management systems that plug into Canvas (Instructure even offers one called Canvas Studio, but there are others like Kaltura and Panopto). With these systems, there is a lot more flexibility around video, including size. Unfortunately, these systems do obviously have additional costs (both for licensing and just the cost of time to manage them), but it's something you could talk to your school/institution about if it's an important part of curriculum.
I hope this helps a bit, even if it's not the info you hoped to hear.
