Is there a way to make the student watch at least 60% of the video - then completion will be enabled?

Hello @jgarci49
There is not anything in Canvas that would force them to watch at least 60% of a video you place in the course. However, a couple other options come to mind on this question.
- Canvas does allow for Module requirements to be setup for things in your course. There are a few different module requirements that could be used for the particular item like a video you place in a course. With Module requirements you have the ability to use options such as View The Item, Mark as Done, Contribute to a Page, Submit an assignment, or Score At least. HERE is the Canvas guide on that.
- One other idea would be to use canvas studio Quizzing. I am not sure if your school allows for Canvas studio to be used, but you could setup a Studio quiz and put a Studio question at the 60% mark. This would make it so that they would need to get to that 60% mark and you would be able to see which students made it that far with the analytics that can be used for studio. HERE is the Canvas studio quizzing guides on that.
Hopefully this helps!
