Hello @FarhatRukhsana 

In addition to what @D_Snow mentioned, you  may have your notification preferences off for assignment submissions. Double check your settings by following this guide:

How do I manage my Canvas notification settings as... - Instructure Community

If you still need assistance, you can always reach out to your instructor and make sure it was submitted successfully.
