assignments for selected groups

If one group of students is given an assignment, does it automatically show up in their "assignments due" list? 

I made a module and added an assignment into it that is only for one small group of students in the class. When I go to Student View, the assignment is not visible in the module. Will the students in the group be able to see it?

Hi @silverthorn, if you assign an assignment by choosing particular students and not including everyone, then those students will see it in the calendar and to-do list (if the list isn't too long.)  Those not assigned will not see it and it won't be in their gradebook.

However, I thought I assigned the students to Group 1, Group 2, etc.  However, I graded Group 2 and made comments, used my Rubric, then there was NOT a box for a final grade, like in other assignments.  Then when I went to GRADEBOOK, I didn't see my grade listed for anyone in that group.  Also, none of my Group 2 students have comments, grades, etc. that I just graded.  Confused?  This is my first time assigning GROUPS.  Maybe I didn't set it up correctly?
