I have a group of science teachers who want to have students submit signed lab policy documents in Canvas but don't want to assign the submission a grade. I can't figure out a workaround. If they display the grade as "ungraded, " there isn't a submission option, if they select Complete/Incomplete, it still wants to show points (Out of 0 points) in the grade book, but then they get the submission option. Students also continue to see the assignment on their "to do" list as well.
Any suggestions?
Might be easier to add the documents as a self-grading quiz with a single question/statement "I agree to the above" etc ... ??
I have the same question. I want students to be able to turn in an ungraded assignment. However, when I choose "Not Graded" under the "Display Grade As", the "Submission Type" box disappears... Please fix!!
