Those are good ideas. I will ask the students when I see them again next week.
Interestingly, I had a different class registering with Canvas today and one of the students was easily able to register with the reCaptcha appearing on his phone.
I'm wondering if perhaps Canvas had a glitch yesterday. Alternatively, it could be an iPhone issue as I think the student today was using an Android phone. (Not 100% sure of that).
I have attached a screen capture of the problem when I tried to register using my own iPhone and had the same issue. Definitely no VPN operating.
Re- using a PC. The students are not required to use a PC on campus, however, I have suggested that they take this action. i.e., register on their PC's at home or elsewhere and then log in using the phone if they don't wish to bring their PC to class. I'm suggesting they bring their PC's anyway, as I'm using a lot of online content.
