How does a student in a course initiate a private message or other post or e-mail to the instructor?

Hi @NikkiHalpern ...

This is super easy in Canvas, and you can do it in one of two main ways...

• Use the Canvas Inbox on the left-hand global navigation bar.  How do I send a message to a user in a course in the Inbox as a student?
• Use the "Ask Your Instructor a Question" link found in the "Help" menu which is located also on the left-hand global navigation menu.  How do I get help with Canvas as a student?
