After an outage on September 1, the Instructure Community is now fully available, including guides, release notes, forums, and groups. If some styling still looks unusual, clear your cache and cookies.

Try getting on it from the internet- chrome, Mozilla or Firefox- mine has been down all day as well on phone app but try going online to do it, so you can get your work done. Hope that helps.

I have tried all of your suggestions- please stop telling me this, I was told it earlier this morning, so been there done that I don't need to continually be told that besides it didn't work (i get youre trying to help but it gets old hearing the same thinf over and over that hasnt worked)- the canvas app for the phone is still down but at least I can get it to work through Chrome online. It's just not as convenient as using the app. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Sorry that you seem to still be having issues with your Canvas course(s) in your school's Canvas environment. The vast majority of folks here in the Community website are Canvas users just like yourself. A small number of us have connections to Instructure staff, and we've been asked to give the suggestions of making sure your browser is up-to-date, clearing cache/history, contacting the Canvas Help Desk, etc. I understand the frustration, but if you are able to report the issue to the Help Desk staff, then you can get it logged as a ticket, and you will be notified via e-mail when the issue has been resolved. Unfortunately, I've not been able to find a common thread as to why this is happening to so many people this semester. 😞
There is no help, canvas won't help and the University says it's a canvas problem.
Canvas says go to the canvas app and fill out a help ticket- well when the app doesn't work, its kind of hard to fill out a help ticket on something you can't get in to.
Ridiculous that you both are blaming one another rather than fixing the problem.
When you can't get into the android canvas app, you can't fill out a help ticket. And when you go to canvas online from Google it won't let you fill out a help ticket for the android app. So just fix it already. It still isn't working this morning and many other students are experiencing it, not just me.

I actually do not work for Instructure (the folks that make Canvas), so I am not able to fix anything in their software. I'm a fellow Canvas user...just like yourself. However, I will reach out to the Community team to see if they would be willing to respond. Hang in there!

If you're able to submit a ticket from the mobile web interface (Chrome, Safari, etc.), you should definitely do so. As you said, the ticket will not be for the Android app specifically, but our Support agents can easily change the affected areas and other tags associated with the case on your behalf after they explore what you share in the details.
It sounds like you've done a lot of troubleshooting, so the next step is working with Canvas Support. An agent will take care of you!
