how do i return the graded quiz papers to the students?

Thanks for asking your question here. This can be helpful for you 

1. Select a user to grade on the Individual tab.

2. Click in the point field for the question you want to add a point value for.

3. Assign a point value.

Good morning.  I am a little confused by the terminology you are using.  By graded "quiz papers", do you mean:

• an online quiz taken in your Canvas course?
• a document you've created on your own that contains a quiz?
• a physical paper copy of a quiz that your students are taking in a face-to-face classroom setting and then you are recording the grade in Canvas?

If you are wondering about how to grade an online quiz in Canvas, you can follow either of these Guides (depending on how you had initially set it up):
