"Hiding" grades is not working properly

Recently, I have discovered that I am no longer able to "hide" my students' grades for either graded discussions or assignments. (I haven't tested this out with quizzes.)
Even when I have both "hidden" my students' grades and set the grading policy to "manual" posting, my students (and I as the "test student") can see the grades I've entered. And, yes, that "eyeball" is crossed out in SpeedGrader.
Something is glitchy. I'm having this issue in all of my Canvas courses.
Am I the only one, or is this a "known issue?" How do I resolve this?

Thanks, @Ron_Bowman. I realized that there was an issue when a student emailed me about her score for the final exam. I was really surprised that she already knew her score when SpeedGrader still had the crossed out eyeball. Then I realized that the "Hidden" label was missing for her and her classmates' exams.
"Hiding" grades in SpeedGrader has never worked well with rubrics, but for this particular exam, I was just entering a point value.
