How do I add a comment to an assignment submission in the Teacher app on my Android device?
You can leave comments on student assignments. Comments can be added before or after grading a submission.
The images in this lesson are shown for a phone display, but unless otherwise noted, tablet displays mirror the same steps.
Note: If the assignment you are accessing displays differently, Assignment Enhancements may be enabled in your course. Currently, Assignment Enhancements is only partially supported by the app.
In the Dashboard, tap the name of the course you'd like to view.
Tap the Assignments link.
To view an assignment, tap the name of the assignment.
Tap the Need Grading status link .
Note: If you want to filter submissions by a different status, tap the Submissions link  and apply the filter in the Submissions page.
Locate the student's submission and tap the name of the student.
Tap the Comments tab.
The student's submission is shown in the Comments tab and may contain comments from the student. If the submission was submitted multiple times, each file displays as a comment.
To view multiple comments, you can adjust the height of the comment window by tapping and holding the menu bar .
To add a comment, tap the Comment field .
Note: If you have populated comments in a comment library, you can add comments using the comment library.
Enter your comment to the student . Then tap the Send icon .
Note: The Comment field displays text only and does not include the Rich Content Editor for formatting.
Attach File to Comment
Tap the Attach icon . Tap the Add File link .
Select the location of your file from the options . Tap the Upload link .
View your comment to the student.
