There is light at the end of the COVID-19 tunnel! Many colleges and universities are gearing up to reopen their campuses to students and faculty alike. While we are not out of the proverbial woods yet, Impact has support for whatever your re-opening strategy may be. 

While students and faculty are celebrating the beginning of summer break, Impact has already been hard at work creating campaigns to help you with your return to campus in Fall 2021! This post highlights some of the brand new campaigns available to make your transition as smooth as possible. 

Students’ sense of belonging has long been studied in academia as college/university is a time for self-discovery and change. Students that feel like they belong in the larger campus community are more inclined to persist to the next year (Hausmann et al., 2009). Additionally, students that feel like they are part of a wider community are more successful (Strayhorn, 2019). 

A new school year brings with it a plethora of updates, reminders, and new policies for both students and faculty. While it is possible for some information to fall through the cracks, something as important as campus inclusion and diversity should not. Impact can help ensure that campus equity remains at the forefront of everyone’s minds.
