Question Groups in New Quizzes

Is there a feature in New Quizzes that works like Question Groups in Classic Quizzes?

Can a teacher set a New Quiz to randomly give a set number of questions to each student in the course? For example, from a bank of 30 questions, each student randomly gets 15.

Hello @skreitzer, 

I found the following entry by @JessicaDeanSVC from a prior post that should get you going:
"The Canvas guide specifically for adding all/random questions from an item bank seems to work well for my instructors. It's important to note though that New Quizzes does not have question banks; it uses item banks instead. Same concept, but you will need to convert your question banks into item banks to be able to use them in New Quizzes.

What if the teacher doesn't have existing question banks to turn into item banks and wants to use New Quizzes?

Then they just need to build the item banks and add them to the quiz.
