Business School Roundtable (4 hours)

 

 

The Business School Roundtable is a forum dedicated to helping new and existing Canvas users reach the academic and strategic objectives that are unique to the business school environment. Attendees will represent national and international business schools of all sizes. Administrators, support staff, instructors, and end users are all welcome to participate.

 

We will have presentations from four business schools that have been using Canvas for four or more years. The moderators will discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly of their experiences, with time for questions and group conversation. Presenters include Columbia Business School, Darden Business School, Wharton Business School, and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

 

This forum is intended to meet the needs of a diverse group of business schools and while the focus will be on business school related topics, all of those interested are welcome to attend. The more the merrier! Click to Register ($50)

Support Field Day: Course-Related Tickets (90 mins)

 

From students being locked out of quizzes to teachers failing to publish assignments to department admins requesting grading histories for large classes, this session covers a variety of tickets related to course design and delivery. Participants will work in small groups and be challenged to troubleshoot common tickets ranging in difficulty. Discussions about different solutions with the Canvas Support team will follow. Using Canvas in the Elementary Environment (90 mins)

 

This training provides K12 educators with a greater understanding of how to leverage Canvas tools to foster connections outside of the classroom. You'll learn to create engaging content pages, improve communication with parents, increase parent involvement in student learning, and more. Leveraging modular design and student-centered learning,  teachers can differentiate and meet the needs of all learners in their classrooms.
