Hello! I had a student come into our office today asking for help with an assigned peer review for an oral communications course. The assignment required students to create a presentation and either film a video presenting it or record audio presenting it. The student was assigned other 3 students to anonymously peer review and as a result can view the document that they uploaded as well as their presentation format. All 3 of the students they are peer reviewing uploaded their presentations as a PowerPoint document with a video overlay on the slides for their presentation. The student is only able to see the PDF version of this PowerPoint document and are unable to download the presentation to view the video format within it. Is there a setting that prevents students from downloading documents when anonymously peer reviewing? I acted as user for other students and for their assigned peer reviews if the presentation was uploaded as a video it can be viewed in the Canvas page, but for every student that was assigned someone who uploaded a PowerPoint presentation, you can't download it to view the video aspect.
