3rd Party Assignment Submissions

We recently enabled the feature: Assignment Enhancements - Student. 

Previously, the student submission options included 3rd party options regardless of what options (url, file upload, online, text) were selected in the assignment settings.

Now, with the setting enabled the only way for students to submit 3rd party assignments is to choose file upload as the submit option. Also, the tools only appear under the MORE menu, which further confuses students.

I have connected with support to see if this was intended functionality of the new feature.

And this is very frustrating, as it hides away the third-party tools and makes it harder for students to find. It requires providing a lot of explicit instructions, screenshots, all sorts just to help students find their way to submit an assignment.

Agreed! Support indicated that what we were seeing was expected, which is unfortunate.
