Since we enabled the assignments Enhanced-feature, students no more get confetti when submitting on time. This despite the fact that the confetti-option is still enabled on the account.
Students are really used to seeing this confetti as a confirmation that their submission is succesful, so this is causing some stress.

Hi @FOULONIne,
The detail about this being a New Quiz probably explains the behavior. As mentioned in the notes of the How do I manage confetti animations in Canvas? - Instructure Community - 615330 guide, "Assignments set up with external tools as the submission type do not display confetti animation upon a student's submission." New Quizzes is technically an external tool, even though it is developed by Instructure and included as part of Canvas. With that being said, I probably wouldn't expect to see confetti for the New Quiz submissions.
I hope this info helps explain what you're experiencing, even if it may not be ideal.

Hi @FOULONIne Thanks for reaching out and flagging this!
The submission confetti should still appear for on-time submissions in Assignment Enhancements when the Confetti for On-Time Submission feature option is enabled at the account level and has not been disabled by the individual user. We recommend checking in with your Canvas admin to confirm that this option is still turned on for your institution. If the confetti setting is enabled and students are still not seeing it, please submit a support ticket so our team can investigate further. We know this visual confirmation is important to students, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention!
@FOULONIne FWIW I am testing assignment enhancements and the confetti does not appear when a student submits successfully. I am one of the Canvas admins and confirmed that the confetti feature is turned on. I'll be submitting a support ticket on this per the recommendation from @SamGarza1
@FOULONIne do you have a due date on the assignment? I did not and Canvas support said that confetti only shows if there is a due date on assignments. However, that's still an issue because without assignment enhancements turned on, confetti will still appear for a student even if there is no due date on the assignment.
Thank you @emc2 for checking this also. I can confirm the assignment has a duedate (in fact it is a new quiz). @SamGarza1 I can confirm that celebration animations was not turned off on user level. I will log a support ticket for this.
