Greeting All:
I have a navigation menu that I want to include in the first page of a long module. I would like to build it as a table, but not have it take up a lot of room on the page. Is there a way in Canvas to have a table with a scroll bar?
All help is appreciated
Steve

I'll add to @SusanNiemeyer's helpful suggestion. Tables are generally used to hold data...not for designing navigation. I fully understand why some like to use tables for page layout purposes (I've done it a little bit myself), but I also agree with Susan there may be better ways to design your pages so that your students can still have a good experience navigating around your course...whether using a computer or a mobile device via the Canvas Student mobile app.
Hope this helps a bit.
Given that your module is very long, I might suggest dividing the content into two (or more) modules. Also be sure to use text headers to help students find what they need.
Whether or not it's technically possible to build a table with a scroll bar, I see two issues with it:
I would suggest putting aside the plan to create a table with a scroll bar and look for other ways to organize your course content so that it's more accessible to your students.
