The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December.

Good Morning All
I'm hearing some trouble with our faculty using Chrome browser and Outlook through O365 to reply to messages received from students from Canvas. The reply will not send just seems to load and load and fail.
We recently moved to O365 and this was never a problem for Outlook and Chrome. We've also see a few other issues since Chrome's last update but wondering if anyone is seeing trouble with specifically replying back to a Canvas message to a student that was forwarded to the faculty email via O365 outlook.

What was the solution, because I'm having this issue. When students message me in Canvas, I would get a notification and a copy of the message in my Outlook In Box. In the past, I used to be able to reply to the Outlook message and my reply from there would show up in my Canvas Messaging as a reply to the student. Now it seems that function has ceased - is there a way I can turn that function or option back on?
