Drawing tool draws Random stuff

The draw feature for marking up submissions sometimes makes random drawings after the drawing tool has been used for other things.  A way to correct this is to choose select, then go back to draw and repeat?  This is really annoying.  Will this behavior ever get corrected?

That doesn't sound like regular behavior for that tool. It is likely your internet browser and we recommend clearing the cache and cookies or trying another browser.

In Chrome
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click the three dots
Click settings
On the left, choose Privacy and Security
Then, clear browsing data
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. I suggest at least 4 weeks
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.

If it still is malfunctioning across browsers or devices, you should let Canvas Support know so the engineers can take a look into the issue.

I have seen this behavior from the drawing tool since we switched from Blackboard to Canvas.  It has not changed regardless of what state my browser was in or what browser was being used.  Additionally, if you have to clear browser cache to make software work...it's the software's fault not the browser.  This goes in the category of slow or no response that is typical for Instructure with Canvas.  Know issues go on forever with solution.

This random drawing behavior is STILL HAPPENING. Still using Chrome.  I've cleared cache and done updates.  NOTHING HAS CHANGED THIS BEHAVIOR.  WHEN WILL THIS GET FIXED.  (I CAN'T BE THE ONLY PERSON HAVING THIS PROBLEM!!!)
