Equation editor used to allow for the complete entry of the math problem that was being done. Now it only allows for the smallest amount of characters. WHY? Please program equation editor the way it used to be. On Timed tests, this new version wastes so much time.

Hi @EllenJackson,
I would honestly suggest contacting Canvas support about this issue, as I don't think there have been any intended changes to the equation editor that would cause this kind of behavior. The last published update to the equation editor was on April 12 2023 and it just added an equilibrium button. The Rich Content Editor was adjusted to better overflow icons on small screens, so maybe this is some kind of unintended consequence of that, though I haven't heard of anyone else running into an issue like this yet. Hopefully support will be able to help you out with this!
