I have set the submission type of one of my grade columns to "no submission" and still cannot enter the grades manually. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thank you

Hello @ManuelGalofaro
This might require support to actually be able to look at your grade book and an example assignment to see what's going on. If you say the dates are good then I am not sure what it would be. Normally it's either dates, the assignment is a quiz, or you have an assignment group with the same name and you are trying to enter a grade in to a column that is actually an average for assignments in that group. Check for duplicate columns with the same name and try entering grades in each.
Hi @ManuelGalofaro ,
You need to provide more information so someone can help you. Have you tried entering scores in both Gradebook view and in the Speedgrader? What happens when you go to the Gradebook cell? Does the box fail to turn into a writeable cell, or do you get an error message? Are you sure the date(s) of the assignment is/are within an open grading period?
Also, have you tried logging out of Canvas and logging back in, and have you ensured that your browser is up to date?
Thanks for responding. I did not go to Speedgrader, but when I go to gradebook view the box fails to turn into a writeable one, it only displays a dash. I check the dates and they are ok. The funny thing is that if I do the same with an online assignment, it allows me to enter or change the grade.
