I am not receiving notifications (email OR mobile notifications) for announcements in any of my courses.

I have the Canvas mobile app and use the web version on my laptop, as well. I've checked that notifications are enabled for Canvas on my iPhone. I also receive mobile notifications from the Canvas app for other things, like new comments on a discussion post, but not when my professor makes a new announcement. I also have emails enabled for announcements and, although I get other emails from Canvas, I don't get them when a new announcement is made. Both mobile and email notifications (both on notify immediately) are enabled for announcements.

How do I fix this? I'm worried I'm going to miss an important announcement about something.

I created a case about this with Canvas support earlier today, and also asked our CSM to make sure this was escalated appropriately because of the importance.  I did get a similar response as others that Instructure is aware of the issue and engineers are looking into it.  No ETA on a fix yet though.  I added a global announcement in our Canvas instance to alert both students and teachers to the issue.
