Teacher removed from course

Class course.

Multiple teachers.

One of those teachers has removed another from the course.

I am account admin - can I see who deleted this teacher?

(I am NOT asking how to remove a teacher or make a teacher a faculty admin.)

There's not really a simple way to do this.

If you know approximately when the teacher was removed, and which other teachers had permission to do it, you can look at the page views for each of them (https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Admin-Guide/How-do-I-view-the-page-views-for-a-user-in-an-account... ) and see who might have been in the "users" area of the course at the time, but I can't really think of another way to do it.

Thanks, it's a busy course with multiple teachers so that won't work.

Frustrating that I'm looking into behaviour one might expect from mischievous children!

Thank you for reaching out! We are sorry to hear that some of your instructors were removed from courses. 

Unfortunatley, there isn't a tool in Canvas that would allow you to see that type of information. However, usually, those types of issues originated from an SIS sync. We would recommend that you check your student information system, or Synergetic, for the most recent syncs for the instructors being mistakenly removed during the sync process. 

Hopefully, that will solve your issue, but let us know if you need anything else.
