Using Google Earth Project in Canvas

Is it possible to share a Google Earth Project (a .kml file) in Canvas? Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

Yes it is possible. First, upload the .kml file to the Files section of your course. Maybe make a folder specifically for .kml files if you intend to use them a lot. The file can then be put into Pages/Assignments/DIscussions/etc. by using the Insert Document option in the editing ribbon or menu. Make sure to select "Course Documents." In the menu that pops up, you can either search for it by name or change the drop down from Documents to All and use the folder navigation to find it. When selected, it will put a link onto the page you are editing that allows students to download the file.

Thank you! I was hoping there was an app (or other solution) where they could access the Google Earth Project from within Canvas, but this might be an acceptable alternative. Our Instructional Design team will be the ones to decide, though. Thanks!
