IN addition to what @SusanNiemeyer mentioned, you can teach yourself how to do what you want by using an internet search on how to find things in a pdf file.
By the way, I remember when the city schools here decided to give every student a chrome book so that they could all have pdf versions of their text books. The son of someone I know was doing his homework and his mom asked what he was doing - the response "Just searching for the answer in the pdf - I don't want to read the rest of it". I understand that philosophy and it is something I would have probably done as well. However, you may be short changing your education and learning techniques.
