@abbittjt ,
Your research and analysis was very thorough in your presentation. I enjoyed hearing your application of the community of inquiry model.
Darrel, I wanted to comment specifically on your part of the presentation regarding student participation. You mentioned several times wanting to find an "easy button" or a simple color-coded interface that would identify which students were struggling within your class. Our institution has partnered with Alliance Partner - AspirEDU to access their LTI Dropout Detective and well, it actually provides the data for struggling students in the exact form you mentioned; a stoplight themed risk factor involving red, yellow and green colors. We have really benefited from this program for retention and while it does not get as deep regarding individual page views and time spent on each page as you shared in your presentation, it might be something that you or your institution could benefit from implementing. I am copying in a quick pic of the DD student dashboard.
