New Quiz - Print Key with answers

looking for confirmation on whether all question types display answers when using the print key with answers functionality, specifically the information in Marking notes on Essay style questions

I do not have an exact answer for you but I have tried to my best put together what you have described. Have you tried to do the same and print a New Quiz (either that you created or that someone else did) using the "Print Key (With Answers)" optio?

From what I can see, the feedback (what I believe you mean by "Marking notes" and as described in the How do I add feedback to a question in New Quizzes? - Instructure Community - 591 support article) are not included when printing (whether as a print out or as a PDF file).

Thanks for your response. Marking notes and Feedback are different things. Marking notes ( see attached) is an area where our teachers put their model answers for essay style questions ( e.g. non self-marking  ). The notes are visible to them when in the speedgrader and they are grading a quiz submission.

I have my answer, that is print with answers option - excludes anything put into marking notes

Thank you for that clarification, @AndrewDwyer, and I am sorry for the oversight on my part. It is good that you figured it out on your own while trying for yourself.

FYI - It seems that different regions/languages of Canvas refer to that area differently.  For me in the eastern part of the United States it appears as "Grading Notes".  The documentation that I see for the essay question type in the  How do I create an Essay question in New Quizzes? - Instructure Community - 980  support article shows that (at least it does for me the eastern part of the United States).

P.S. This question was one of two questions today where "mark" and "grade" were interchanged/switched with each other. The other one was at https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Question-Forum/New-Quiz-change-total-marks-and-not-updatin....

This does not answer the question.  How do I see the answers that showed in old quizzes for essay questions that were forced into new quizzes?  I do not want to have to go into every question and move those answers to the marking notes.  Is it possible to at least make an answer key perhaps to a PDF so I can have that open next to the quiz when I am scoring the quiz?

I can't believe Instructure and this new quiz....What garbage!
