My user role is Teacher. I have done the following in order to get a question bank and quiz in canvas:
After this, I couldn't see any quiz or any question bank. Attaching screen shots for reference.
Kindly help asap. Thanks.

Thanks Doug for the response. I have successfully imported the Question Bank. I did some changes in the code that creates the QTI Package. That is working.
But I have one doubt. I am unable to switch to new quiz from classic quiz in my course. I am the the only user of the account. Any idea how to deal with this?
You are welcome, @112610122153523, and glad to hear that it is working.
When you say that you are the only user of the account, are you using a paid-for version of Canvas, a self-hosted/built version of Canvas, or Canvas Free for Teachers?
If you are using a paid-for version of Canvas, you need to enable the "New Quizzes" feature preview (along with other options related to migration). Check out Canvas Feature Option Summary - Instructure Community - 531316 for help with that.
If you are using a self-hosted/built version of Canvas, that is something that I cannot help with but I would recommend that you also check out https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Resource-Documents/Canvas-Feature-Option-Summary/ta-p/5313... as a starting point.
If you are using Canvas Free for Teachers, New Quizzes is not included as a feature and that is mentioned at Canvas Free for Teacher Account Comparison | Instructure.

Hi @112610122153523,
I have tried to duplicate this as best as I can because I did not already have a QTI file around. With that said, I have:
Have you tried any other QTI files? Does the problem still happen?

Hey,
Can you share how drag and drop questions look like in canvas? Currently it looks like this in my course.
Hi @112610122153523,
First, when using the categorization (aka "drag and drop") type of question, please take into consideration accessibility. This is something mentioned by Illinois State University in the "Consider Question Types" section of their Building Accessible Quizzes in Canvas | Help - Illinois State support article. The specific reference is provided below.
Avoid drag-and-drop questions as they can be difficult for students to manipulate.
Below are a couple of Canvas support articles for you.
Someone created the Canvas New Quizzes Categorization/Drag & Drop Question Types YouTubedeo back in October 2023; meaning that aspects may have changed.

How was the "Canvas_QTI_Package.zip" file created? Was it an export from another Canvas course?
No, I have programmatically created the zip package. I did some changes in the code and it is working now. Thanks a lot for answering.
That's what I feared, an error in the QTI file (so that Canvas couldn't detect the quiz inside the zip file) was the more likely explanation for me. Thanks for updating us.
Hello @112610122153523 and welcome to the Community. I'm going to make a BIG assumption here! I'm assuming that you have New Quizzes. This is important because the terminology between Classic Quizzes (the quizzing engine that Canvas has had since its beginning) and New Quizzes (the engine that is in the process of replacing Classic Quiz) is different. Classic Quizzes uses the terminology "Question Banks" and New Quizzes use the terminology "Item Banks". This link, https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-import-a-quiz-from-a-QTI-package-in-New... should help you import your QTI file into New Quizzes. Please make sure that it is an updated QTI file.
Hi jcarpenter1,
Thanks for answering the question. I have resolved the issue but I am unable to make a switch to new Quizzes from the Classic Quizz. The option to enable New Quiz is disabled. I am the sole user of the account.
Hi @ibijoke_amona,
Have you already previously imported the question bank into this course?
What happens if you import the question bank into another course?
-Doug
I haven't imported a QB into this specific course, but I did import several QTI files (publisher's test bank) for a different course at the start of the semester with no issues (using the same process).
