Unable to view feedback

I'm unable to see my teacher's feedback on a PDF I submitted. I can see her graded rubric and the chat on the side but there is no link that should be attached which would include her specific comments.  I think this is an issue only on my end because she can see the PDF link there with her comments.  Attached is a screenshot of what she sees versus a screenshot of what I see

Hi @AutumnHenriksen,

This may sound super basic, but have you tried just scrolling down?  The  How do I view assignment feedback from my instruct... - Instructure Community  guide shows that the annotated feedback on your screenshot should be located below the rubric.  You may have to close out of the instructor comments popout to be able to scroll down, but I'm pretty sure your feedback should be there.

Thank you for your fast response; yes I have scrolled to the bottom of the page, and left and right, with the chat open and closed - I'm still unable to see the file.  I followed the instructions on "How do I view assignment feedback from my instructor using Assignment Enhancements?" and could not find the solution to the problem that I'm having. It's like this on another one of my assignments as well.

Have you tried opening the PDF to see if the feedback is there? PDF's can be marked with "Comments," and your teacher may have provided the feedback in that manner.

There is no link to any PDF where it's supposed to be.  That's what I'm trying to find in order to review the comments my teacher put on my submission.  I cant find my submission at all, just the chat and the rubric.

Have you tried accessing the assignment through the Grades page? Specifically, click on the title (not the chat icon on the far right). That should take you to a page that looks more like the picture of your Teacher's View. THAT should have the file for you to download.

Both @chriscas and @JeffCampbell have some great replies for you!  I also wonder if you were submitting any additional attachments as part of the comments section back to your instructor?

As you can see from this Guide (look at the "Add Comments" section), it's possible to "Attach File", so I wasn't sure if you may have done this or not.  Just a thought.

Hi @Chris_Hofer,

I did not submit my assignment through the chat.  I submitted it directly onto the assignment page and haven't been able to view the PDF since, although my teacher is able to and added comments.

Hi @AutumnHenriksen 

Based on the screen shots you provided the annotated PDF would be at the bottom of the assignment page when you view it. If you are not seeing it I would suggest a couple things:

1. Make sure that your browser is up to date - Check the Canvas browser requirements.
2. Clear your browser cache for all time - Find the steps for your browser.
3. Try viewing the results in a different browser from the one you normally use

If all else fails, you can open a support ticket with Canvas Support.

Thanks for clarifying what you have tried and how you submitted it in your last reply. I am curious if maybe the view you have(not showing the comments) could be browser related in some way. I know sometimes when viewing pages in Canvas(and other websites) that the browser version can affect what is displayed. We have the listed browser versions listed here What are the browser and computer requirements for Instructure products?  Another thing to consider and check would be if the cache and cookies may be affecting how the pages are loading the information and displaying it for you. We happen to have some guides on this depending on the type of computer you are using:
