How do I sign up for a Canvas Student ePortfolios account?
If you do not have a Canvas Student ePortfolios account, you need to create an account before you can log in. If your school or organization has created a partnered Join page, you may be able to create your account by entering your organization email address. Canvas Student ePortfolios will give you the option of using Single Sign-On with your organization or you can have an activation link sent to your email.
You can also create an account using a personal email account.
View Canvas Student ePortfolios
In your web browser, navigate to Canvas Student ePortfolios using the URL for your region. Click the Join Now link.
Enter Email Address
In the Email field , enter the email address you would like to use to create your account, and then click the Continue button .
You can also create an account using your Google credentials. To sign up using your Google account, click the Google button .
Enter Google Credentials
In the new window, enter your Google login credentials.
In the School Name field , start typing the name of your school. When you see the name of your school display in the list, click the name, and then click the Next button .
To sign up without specifying your school, click the Skip this step link .
Enter Registration Details
Enter your name in the First name and Last name fields .
Set your password by typing in the Password field .
Select your account type in the Account type drop-down menu . Available options include Undergraduate Student, Graduate Student, Community College Student, K12 Student, Alumni, Faculty Member, School Administrator, or None of the Above.
Set your birthday using the Month, Day, and Year drop-down menus .
Click the Continue button .
View Confirmation Email
When you receive the confirmation email, open it and click the Confirm Now button to finish creating your account. After you confirm your account you can log in to Canvas Student ePortfolios.
