Turnitin and Students viewing similarity report

Hi, sorry if this was mentioned before. With Assgn. Enhancement on students seem to have an extra step to view their Turnitin Similarity report. 

Thoughts?

Students would go to submission feedback or details and click the Icon to see their Turnitin score

With Assgn. Enhancements:

students have to go to grades ( image below shows that student cannot see Turnitin report icon to click)

maybe this is just me.

Hi, @christopher_gil!

Yes, this is a known issue. We have a ticket to update this to allow students to view (and click on) the TII icon from the assignments page. This ticket is will be worked on in our upcoming sprint. We hope to have it resolved and pushed live in one of the near-term deploys.

It looks like this was fixed on September 14th, 2022 according to the Assignment Enhancements release notes.

My institution uses Unicheck which is connected via the plagiarism framework, and our students see the originality score in their grade book and on the assignment itself. I would assume that if Turnitin were integrated via the plagiarism framework the score would show up as well. 

If the external tool submission type is used with Turnitin that could explain why the score is not showing up.
