To do list is not updating and deleting past assignments completed and graded, already tried deleting app and re-downloading. Only a problem on the app and not dashboard.. advice?

It sounds like the issue is stemming from the app only and not on a regular internet browser. Normally, deleting the app and re-downloading it should resolve an issue like this but you may want to consider deleting the cache on your device as well.
