How do I add tools and accommodations to individual students as a Mastery Connect admin?

As a Mastery Connect admin, you can add tools and accommodations to individual students. Setting students' tools and accommodations will automatically display in the students' edit page in the tracker. If a teacher then adjusts these settings, a classroom-specific configuration is created which overrides the student settings.

Open Admin Menu

In the global navigation, click the Admin drop-down menu [1]. In the drop-down menu, select the Manage menu [2]. Then, click the Students link [3].

Edit Student Account

Locate the student account to edit, then click the Edit link.

Add Tools and Accommodations

In the Edit Student window, you can view the student's current accommodations. To add tools and accommodations under formative settings for students, click the Formative Settings toggle.

To select relevant tools and accommodations under benchmark settings for students, click the Benchmark Settings toggle.  Students will then have access to the selected tools needed for assessments.

Save changes

Save Changes

To Apply changes, click the Save button.
