Hi,
We've been using the Assignment Enhancements for some time and love it.
We also use TurnItIn LTI integration for most of our summative submissions for similarity report, but continue to use SpeedGrader for Feedback and Marking of submitted work.
The Problem
For the first time this year, I noticed that when an assignment has TurnItIn (External Tool) turned on, the TII submission inbox effectively replaces the window in which the student would see any of the in-line feedback for the task. (See attached image Feedback1.jpg)
Current Solution
We either have to turn the assignment enhancements feature off to ever back to the old GUI (attached Feedback2.jpg) or teachers need to switch TurnItIn off when they release their grades to students so that the default Canvas feedback interface appears.
Question
Is there a way that the feedback in the enhanced view can be visible even if TurnItIn is enabled for an assignment?
It seems we are also having this isssue with Google Drive Cloud LTI assignments as well. Clicking on the assignment name in the student grade summary takes you back to the assignment, not to viewing the annotations/feedback like it does without Assignment Enhancements. I just wanted you to know you are not the only one having this issue with certain LTIs.
