This post summarizes the product updates covered in our Instructure New & Next webinars held on October 15 for our K-12 customers in North America. The webinar covered both features that are available now and features that are coming very soon. This time we organized the updates more clearly by product, based on your feedback! This post aggregates the resources for all updates that are currently available. Even if you didn’t join the session, we hope this list of resources helps you effectively communicate updates to the product experiences across your institution.

IgniteAI

Canvas LMS

The most recent and soon-to-release Canvas LMS enhancements improve the LMS experience for learners, instructors, and administrators. The Canvas team has been focused on simplified learner experiences, improving assessment and feedback mechanisms for instructors, and course, content, and access management enhancements for both instructors and administrators, to name a few. Instructure’s add-on products and cross-product efforts make the teaching and learning experience smarter, more engaging, and more accessible. We shared updates that provide a more engaging and secure video content consumption experience for learners, a more informative and supported enrollment process, enhanced visibility and collaboration within your teaching and learning insights, and all of this is to be accessed through simplified and streamlined authentication across our products.
