Improve syncing across shared courses and Canvas content items

Theme Overview

Instructors want smarter syncing across different parts of Canvas, including Canvas Commons, to save time and reduce inconsistencies in content. 

What value could this provide to users?

• When updating a previously imported course via Canvas Commons, only the parts of the course that have been updated copy to the new course
  
• Links don’t break/get removed when sharing content to Canvas Commons
• When instructors update or change the name of Canvas content items, that change is synced across Canvas
